Zimmer, 1932The Zimmer's Antbird (Myrmeciza castanea), also known as the Northern Chestnut-tailed Antbird, is a species of bird in the Thamnophilidae family. It is found in the Amazon Rainforest in northeastern Peru and far eastern Ecuador. In the past it was treated as a subspecies of the Chestnut-tailed Antbird, which it closely resembles in plumage.
