The city is the site of 13 completed buildings that are at least convert|500|ft|m|0 high, with two more under construction. Atlanta entered another high-rise construction boom in 2004, and has since seen the completion of seven buildings over convert|400|ft|m|0 in height. Eight more are under construction in the city, including 3344 Peachtree, the tallest structure under construction in Atlanta at convert|665|ft|m|0. 3344 Peachtree was topped out in October 2007 and is expected to be complete by early 2008. Twenty-three new skyscrapers with expected heights of at least convert|400|ft|m|0 have been approved or proposed for the city. As of May 2008, there are 80 high-rise buildings under construction, approved for construction, or proposed for construction in Atlanta.
