synonyms = The Dusky Gopher Frog or Mississippi Gopher Frog ("Rana sevosa") is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is endemic to the United States and its natural habitats are temperate forests and intermittent freshwater marshes. This species is threatened by habitat loss.

The frog is three inches long, with a dark brown or black back which is covered in warts. It once was found in lower Louisiana, Mississippi,Arizona, and Alabama, but today the population is approximately 100 frogs found in only one pond in Harrison County, Mississippi.
