Vangshylla

Vangshylla

Vangshylla is a village located at the south-east end of Inderøy, Norway, in the Utøy school district. The main features of Vangshylla include a harbour and Skarnsundet Fjord Centre, providing accommodation for fishing in Skarnsundet, a sound of the Trondheimsfjord. From 1958 to 1991 Vangshylla was the terminus of a Vangshylla–Kjerringvik Ferry connecting Mosvik to Inderøy, when it was replaced by the Skarnsund Bridge. Until 1978 the village had a separate food store. Now the village is mostly a recreational centre for the nearby cabins.
