The Garden Slender Salamander ("Batrachoseps major") is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family.It is found in Mexico and the United States.Its natural habitats are temperate forests, temperate shrubland, Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, arable land, rural gardens, and urban areas.It is threatened by habitat loss.
