The music video starts by showing the cover of the "True Colours" album in black and white on some a billboard. The clip then focuses on Neil, who is standing in a room by himself singing the song while the rest of the band are playing in a framed picture on the wall. Neil eventually joins the rest of the band towards the end of the song. Neil is wearing a purple suit with a yellow tie.Tim's costume is almost the exact opposite, except his suit is more of a caramel colour. All the ther band members are just wearing different colour combinations of the same type of suit. The clip ends with Neil crouching away in a corner of the room he was in to start with.
