Lakhan

TITAWI is a village in Muzzfarnagar (MOZ) District Muzzfarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, India, some, 14 km from the district headquarters.

The population of Village is approx 8,000 (in 2006).No of Households 1000. The history of this village tracked back to some 300 years ago when a famer named "latha" put his hut on the bank of river "hindon". That is why most of the families live here bore the surname of "Lathiyan".This village is fast becoming a industrial village as it has a sugar plant here and new petrol pumps. It the main Bus Stand for the nearby villages Like LAKHAN, DHANSAINI, NANGLA, LADWA,NASIRPUR etc. This village is known to be one of the most advanced villages in Muzaffarnagar district in term of infrastructure.
