David Bermudo Rubio (born 14 January 1979 in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona, Catalonia) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CE Sabadell FC in the Spanish second division, as a left defender.

Football career

After unsuccessfully emerging through local giants FC Barcelona's youth system, leaving in 2001, Bermudo signed with CD Tenerife, freshly returned to the main division; he made his La Liga debut on 26 August, in a 0–2 home loss against Deportivo Alavés, and would total a mere 12 appearances during the season, being booked four times in an eventual relegation back.

Subsequently, Bermudo resumed his career in the second division, representing in the following five years Algeciras CF (loaned), Tenerife and UD Almería, achieving another topflight promotion with the latter (but only appearing in five matches during the season).

In the 2007 summer, he signed with Pontevedra CF in level three, moving to CE Sabadell FC two years later.
