- Mark Salomon

Mark Salomon is an American singer and author best known as the lead singer of the hard rock bands Stavesacre and The Crucified. Other bands in which he has been a key member include the punk rock Outer Circle and rap-oriented Native Son and is rumored to be one of the voices of Neon Horse, though that has never been confirmed by the singer or the label the album was released on, Tooth and Nail Records. In both Stavesacre and the Crucified, he served as primary lyricist as well.
Biography
During his time in The Crucified and Stavesacre, Salomon was often called upon to lend vocals to songs by other bands, most notably Project 86, Argyle Park, CHATTERbOX, Focused, XL+Death Before Dishonor (DBD), Mortal.
In 2007, Salomon appeared in the video for the song "Cuckoo" by Neon Horse. His appearance, combined with the vocal style of the album, led to speculation that Salomon was one of the principles in the band (the members of which were not immediately made known). In the May/June 2007 issue of HM Magazine, an interview with a Neon Horse member called "Norman Horse" revealed that he listened to Larry Norman when he was young; Salomon described listening to Norman during his teens in the May/June 2008 issue.
Salomon also is the author of Simplicity (ISBN 0976035766), an autobiography that tells of his formative years in Fresno, California, his development as a singer, and the band Stavesacre's struggles to fit in to the Christian music scene (and why it eventually left the scene). Initially self-published, a revised version was released in 2005 by Relevant Books, a publishing house connected to Relevant Magazine.
