"Anadara" is a genus of ark clams, in the family Arcidae. These shells are elongate oval, or quadrilateral, sculptured with strong radial ribs, and covered by a thick periostracum. The hinge line is long, almost straight, and the teeth are numerous. Widely distributed in Indo-Pacific seas.
