Business (IT)The College is located in the heart of Dublin city centre, adjacent to St. Stephen's Green. Staff and students have won numerous awards including the Golden Spiders Awards, Digital Media Awards and The Irish Professional Photographers Association Awards. Students films have premiered at festivals in Europe and the US. Accreditations include the European Broadcasting Union (Geneva), Edexcel (BTEC), City & Guilds, FETAC, NQAI, European Broadcasting Union.
NMTC has provided high-level training programmes for international broadcasters in Eastern Europe and North Africa on behalf of the European Broadcasting Union, Geneva. In 2009, NMTC developed a new animated 3D logo for the EBU. This logo was broadcast to an audience of over 125 million people as part of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
New courses launched in October 2011 include a BTEC HND in 3D Design and a HND in Creative Media Production (Computer Game Animation).
In 2012 NMTC will also launch 5 MA programmes including MA in Digital Film & Animation, MA in Photography, MA by Project (Design), and MA by Project (Applied Arts) and MA by Project (Visual Culture). These courses are accredited by London Metropolitan University.
