The Roman Catholic Diocese of Wau {Latin: "Vaven(sis)"} is a diocese located in Wau in the Ecclesiastical province of Juba in Sudan.

History

* May 30, 1913: Established as Apostolic Prefecture of Bahr el-Ghazal from the Apostolic Vicariate of Central Africa
* June, 13, 1917: Promoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Bahr el-Ghazal
* May 26, 1961: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Wau
* December 12, 1974: Promoted as Diocese of Wau
