(D. S. Jordan, 1877)The Blue Shiner (Cyprinella caerulea) is a rare species of ray-finned fish in the family Cyprinidae. It is native to Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee in the United States.[1] It is a federally listed threatened species of the United States.[2]
