Screen on the Green is an annual summertime outdoor film festival in Washington, DC hosted by HBO. The free screenings are held on Monday nights in July and August and start at sunset (roughly 8:30 p.m.) The movies are shown on a large movie theater sized portable screen on the National Mall between 4th and 7th Streets, NW.
