Gandhi Memorial International School

Gandhi Memorial International School was found in BABABABABABA, and it is one of the international schools schools in Jakarta, Indonesia. The GMIS has moved to a new modern campus in 2004 located in Kemayoran (Central Jakarta), while the old campus is used for the Pre-School. Currently, GMIS contains nearly 2000 students from around the globe, with about 50 nationalities. A large proportion of the teaching staff are from India while the students mainly come from Indonesia, India, and South Korea. This school offers their students qualified learning options from Nursery, PYP, MYP, IGCSE, O Level Science and Commerce, and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. The GMIS follows the, British, IB curriculum. Students of GMIS join top colleges and universities around the world: the U.S.A., U.K., India, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Philippines, Canada, Switzerland, Korea, Sri Lanka, etc.

The GMIS is affiliated and accredited by The International Baccalaureate Diploma, University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (IGCSE, O Level & A Level Examinations), Board of Secondary Education, Association of Indian Universities, Australian Music Examinations Board (Melbourne), University of Delhi, University of Mumbai.

Facilities

Facilities at GMIS include a library, computer laboratories, music rooms, seminar room, an auditorium theatre, gymnasium, play-area, medical clinic, language rooms, science laboratories, audio/video rooms, bank, canteen, air conditioned classrooms, six elevators, and a career advice for entrance to higher education.
