Soyuz-T

The Soyuz-T (T - транспортный, "Transportnyi" meaning transport) spacecraft (1976-1986) is a third generation Soyuz spacecraft version, incorporating lessons learned from the Apollo Soyuz Test Project Soyuz 7K-TM and Military Soyuz.

The Soyuz-T featured solar panels allowing longer missions, a revised Igla rendezvous system and new translation/attitude thruster system on the Service module. It could carry a crew of three, now wearing spacesuits.
