Pomona High School (or PHS) is a high school (secondary school) operated by the Pomona Unified School District (PUSD) in California, located in North Pomona at 475 Bangor St. In 2002 and 2003, Pomona High School won the Valle Vista League championships for football.They were coached by John Capraro. The three mentioned alumnus below all played for Coach Cap. In 2004 and 2005 Pomona High's Boys Basketball team won the Valle Vista League Championship lead by Jaron Devine, Kelley Johnson, and team MVP David Aguilera. Pomona High School Library and Information Center has a new and improved collection of books, non-print materials and electronic books. The Library and Information Center also has Internet access for classes as well as individual students, and offers evening hours. The school is technologically equipped with computers and Internet access available throughout the campus.

Pomona High School Burns Down

On May 14, 1956 the old Pomona High School at East Holt and San Antonio avenues was destroyed by fire.
