Xue Zongzheng

Xue Zongzheng (zh-c|c=薛宗正, b. 1935) is a renowned Chinese historian, a director of Ancient History at the Institute of History in Xinjiang Academy of Social Sciences, and a professor of History at the Xinjiang Normal University. Born in Jinan, Shandong, he was graduated in history from the Peking University in 1958, specialized in the fronter policy of ancient China and the history of Central Asia. He published several books in the Chinese language.
