Information for parents Northridge Schools offers a lot for the students and community. Parents and locals can vote in any of the schools libraries during the elections. The High School is one of very few schools in Montgomery County that offers drivers education. The High School also offers a credit recovery programs so that your child does not get left behind. They have recently started an open enrollment program for child to go to school here who do not live within the district limits. None of the schools get very out of hand, they do not have security or metal detectors, However they do have cameras in all of the hallways and around each building also in most classrooms with computers. Also in the High School they offer a independent study program for child do get there credits at their own pace.(from 12:00-2:35 is sis/from 3:00-5:30 is twilight). Both of which classes are directed by Ms. Alice Berry and run off of a computer program known as ALS. This District offers lots of extra curricular activities in the High School they don't have a boys soccer team. The district has classes for special needs children, and gifted children(honors classes).
