John P. Donoghue (born 1957) is an American politician from Maryland and a member of the Democratic Party. He is currently serving in his 5th term in the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Maryland's District 2C in Washington County. Donoghue is a member of the Health and Government Operations Committee.

Donoghue was born in New York City on May 24, 1957. He graduated from Catholic University with a degree in Political Science before becoming a financial advisor with Legg Mason.
