Cammachmore (Gaelic "An Camach Mòr") is a
hamlet in thecoast al region near theNorth Sea inAberdeenshire . Causey Mounth trackway , which road was constructed on high ground to make passable this only availablemedieval route fromcoast al points south fromStonehaven toAberdeen . This ancient passage specifically connected theRiver Dee crossing (where the presentBridge of Dee is situated) viaPortlethen Moss ,Muchalls Castle andStonehaven to the south.
