- Saptakoshi River

Saptakoshi River is an important river flowing into the Koshi River basin. It originates in the Tibetan mountains at an altitude of 5,646 metres. Fishing is an important enterprise on the river but the fishing resources are being depleted and the younger fishermen are leaving for other areas of work.[1]
