Marwan Ali (in Arabic مروان علي) is a Tunisian pop singer, the winner of the Arab Super Star show, a version of the British show Pop Idol.[1]

SuperStar is broadcast on Future TV, a Lebanese television station and is the first Idol franchise to feature contestants from multiple countries.

Marwan, an 18-year-old student, won the competition against 12 other late-stage participants from Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt and Syria. His competitors in the final show were Saad al-Mujarrad from Morocco and Yusra Mahnoush from Tunisia. His prizes include a new car from Ford, and a recording contract to help launch his debut album.

He is set to release an album in 2011. Ali has covered various songs. One of them being a cover of Kid Cudi's 'Day and Night'.[2] His cover of this song on the video sharing website YouTube has attained very positive attention from online viewers.
