Veolia Transport Cymru is a division of the Veolia Transport group (formerly Connex), part of the French multinational Veolia Environnement. Since its formation, Veolia has acquired a number of smaller operators in Wales. Companies acquired by Veolia Transport Cymru include: Bebb Travel, Pullman Coaches, Longs, Hawkes, and Shamrock Travel (incorporating Thomas of Barry). The most recent acquisition is of Crossgates Motors of Crossgates, Llandrindod, which Veolia took over after Crossgates lost all their work to Veolia in a retendering exercise by Powys County Council.

In Swansea, it operates the Gower Explorer and Lliw Link rural services (from the acquisition of Pullman Coaches), from Swansea bus station to a number of remote villages in the Gower peninsula and the Lliw uplands. Destinations served by the Gower Explorer services include:
