Irving King

Irving King was a pseudonym used in the 1920s and 1930s by the British songwriting team of James Campbell and Reginald Connelly. Primarily lyricists, they generally worked in collaboration with composers.

Their compositions included the Froth Blowers' anthem, "The More We Are Together" [ [http://www.btinternet.com/~ianb/fofb/anthem.htm The Ancient Order Of Froth Blowers Anthem] , Friends of the Froth Blowers] , "Show Me the Way to Go Home" (1925), "If I Had You" (1928, written with Ted Shapiro), "Goodnight Sweetheart" (1931, with Ray Noble) and "Try A Little Tenderness" (1933, written with Harry M. Woods).
