Situated 7 km south from the county seat of Iaşi, it is composed of seven villages: Ciurea, Curături, Dumbrava, Hlincea, Lunca Cetăţuii, Picioru Lupului and Slobozia. It also includes the majority-Romani neighborhood of Zanea.
