- Marina (Barcelona Metro)
-
Marina is the name of a station in the Barcelona metro network, served by TMB line L1. It's named after Carrer de la Marina, in the edge of two districts: Eixample and Sant Martí.
It was opened in 1933. Its platforms, located opposite each other as opposed to most other metro stations in Barcelona which are in different parts of the station, were built underneath the former Estació del Nord train station (which nowadays is a bus station), next to Marina bridge. The station can be accessed from Carrer dels Almogàvers, and the crossing of carrer de la Marina with Avinguda Meridiana, and is adapted for disabled people.
The Trambesòs route T4 has a station in Marina which can be found right next to its metro counterpart.
