Sagrada Família (Barcelona Metro)

Sagrada Família (Barcelona Metro)

Sagrada Família is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro network. It's named after the famous church of the same name, first designed by architect Antoni Gaudí and still under construction. It's served by lines L2 and L5. It opened in 1970, when the Diagonal-Sagrera section was added to L5. The L2 service was inaugurated much later, in 1995. It can be accessed either from the entrance at Plaça Gaudí, next to Carrer de la Marina, or from Carrer de Mallorca and Carrer de Provença. Despite being the station serving one of the city's most popular attractions, it's still only adapted to the needs of disabled people in the L2 part.
