Gustaf Nyholm

Gustaf Nyholm (27 January 1880, Stockholm12 September 1957, Stockholm) was a Swedish chess master.

In 1907 he took 6th in Copenhagen (6th Nordic-ch, Paul Leonhardt won). In 1909 he took 2nd, behind Joel Fridlizius, in Göteborg (7th Nordic-ch, B tournament). In 1912 he took 11th in Stockholm (8th Nordic-ch, Alexander Alekhine won). In 1916 he tied for 6-7th in Copenhagen (9th Nordic-ch, Paul Johner won). In 1917, he won in Christiania (Oslo) (10th Nordic-ch). In 1919 he tied for 7-8th in Göteborg (11th Nordic-ch, Rudolf Spielmann and Anton Olson won).
