Early life
Digambar was born in Margao . He has a bachelors degree in science Bsc.[2]
Political career
Digambar Kamat quit the Indian National Congress in 1994 and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party when he was denied the INC ticket. In 2005, he left the BJP-led government in the state and returned to the Congress. On 25 July 2007, Kamat's government fell into crisis, as it appeared to not have a majority after resignations and alliance break-ups.
Personal life
Digambar was married to Asha and has two children.
