Cory Kahaney

Cory Kahaney (born 1963) is an American comedian.[1] She competed in the first season of NBC's reality television show Last Comic Standing.

Cory was a grand finalist and runner-up in season one of NBC's Last Comic Standing. She has had her own comedy specials on both Comedy Central and HBO. She was voted comedian of the year by Backstage Magazine and named best female comedian by the Manhattan Cabaret Association. Cory has a 25-year-old daughter from her first marriage and a 5-year-old son with her current husband. Currently, Cory co-hosts a nationally syndicated morning radio show called "The Radio Ritas."

She is the creator of J.A.P. - The Princesses of Comedy, an Off-Broadway production that features live standup routines by four female Jewish comics--including Kahaney--juxtaposed with the stories of legendary performers from the 1950s and 1960s: Totie Fields, Jean Carroll, Pearl Williams, Betty Walker, and Belle Barth.
