Bridge Asia Japan

"Bridge Asia Japan" (BAJ) is a non-profit organization helping socially vulnerable and disadvantaged people (refugees, disabled people, women and children) all over the Asia. Established in 1993 in Japan.

The official objectives of "Bridge Asia Japan":
* provide opportunities for training and skill enhancement;
* support for income generation;
* improve infrastructure for regional development.

Its activities in Vietnam include donation of used garbage collection vehicles, sponsoring seminars on environmental protection and medical waste, training in Japan for welfare experts on the Vietnam disabled, organizing vocational training for visually impaired people, realization of an afforestation project for environment conservation and income generation, study on the recycling programme on urban waste, improvement the living environment and environmental education for the urban poor.
