Gluv

The Gluv range of ladies comfort shoes is owned by the UK footwear distributor William Lamb Footwear. William Lamb Footwear was founded in 1887 manufacturing clogs for the West Riding woollen mills. In the 1950s the company specialised in manufacturing football boots, by the 1970s the company had started to manufacture training shoes.

In 1982 the Gola brand was acquired and this was used as a vehicle into the provision of sportswear, which was predominantly of Far East origin. The Gola brand was sold in 1990.

After a recent initiative undertaken by the brand, Gluv comfort shoes will be now worn by BMI Baby cabin crew members as part of their uniform [ [http://www.footweartoday.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/96/Sky%92s_the_limit_for_Gluv.html Sky’s the limit for Gluv - Footwear Today ] ] .
