Foz do Iguaçu International Airport airport codes|IGU|SBFI, also known as Cataratas International Airport [pt icon [http://www.guiadeaerodromos.com.br/ Guia de Aeródromos Brasileiros] ] , is located in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil and also serves nearby cities including Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. It is the second busiest airport in Paraná state and the 22nd busiest in Brazil. The airport is one of the 65 administered by Infraero. The airport is not to be confused with Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IATA: IGR), which is located nearby in Misiones Province, Argentina and serves the neighboring city of Puerto Iguazú

In 2003, 600,000 passengers passed through the airport, which has a terminal capable of 1 million passengers annually. The airport can handle wide-body aircraft as large of MD-11, with restrictions in weight in landings and take-offs, or Boeing 767s or Boeing 737 without restrictions.
