The Wall Street Ren "(Ren = Professional in Chinese)" is a non-profit and non-partisan group comprised of Chinese Wall Street professionals.

About

WSR is one of the largest capital market senior professional groups in the United States and currently has 242 members.Fact|date=December 2007 More than 65% are managing directors/directors in various firms on Wall Street.Fact|date=December 2007 It has a reputation of being snobbish among many Chinese wall streeters.

Education program

Wall Street Ren has been working on an education program, which plays a leading role in improvement of teaching and learning about China. This program has been presented to the general public in the United States, so that they can have a better understanding of China and the financial market.

Wanting to be a valuable asset to both the American and Chinese people the WSR wants to acquaint American people and their financial leaders with the changing face of China, and how the two can work together to improve the financial world.

The statistics show that people in the United States and Chinese citizens have much to learn about each other. This is very important because we are all sharing the same future, and in order to know how to improve it we need to work together.

Business program

The Business Program goal at Wall Street Ren is to broaden understanding of US-China's dynamic business environment. The WSR's Business Programs department organizes timely and insightful programs throughout the U.S. and China including:
* Conferences
* Panel discussions
* Briefings
* Symposia
* Study missionsAll of these bring together and extraordinary community of policymakers, corporate executives, nongovernmental organization (NGO) leaders, scholars and the media to respond to fast-breaking events and important trends in China.

Each year members of Wall Street Ren are recognized and given awards for innovative deals, along with continued excellence in a particular business. There are many factors involved in deciding the awards and the merits they are based upon.
