From 2001–04 Ryan Carter played for the
Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL. Ryan Carter played two seasons for Minnesota State University from 2004–06. In 2006 he signed a contract with theAnaheim Ducks . He was sent to theAmerican Hockey League 'sPortland Pirates where he would score 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points in 76 games. He also received 85 PIM's. He was called up to theAnaheim Ducks for the 2007 playoff run. He helped Anaheim win theStanley Cup defeating theOttawa Senators four games to one onJune 6 ,2007 .His first NHL goal was scored on
February 8 , 2008 in a two goal night againstMartin Brodeur of theNew Jersey Devils .On April 29, 2008, he was signed to a three year contract with the
Anaheim Ducks .Injury

February 20 , 2008, Carter broke his right wrist after a check sent his arm through the photographers hole. Carter underwent surgery on February 23 and is expected to be out for 4–6 weeks.External links
