friendly fire , U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Stanley Harriman, of the Third Special Forces Group, and two Afghans were killed by a U.S.AC-130 gunship that mistook their convoy for enemies. They had been moving into position forOperation Anaconda . Three U.S. and 14 Afghan troops were wounded in the attack. It was originally reported that they were ambushed."Wednesday,
March 6 ,2002 "A blast killed two German and three Danish soldiers as they defused a Soviet-made SA-3 anti-aircraft missiles near the airport in

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), theInternational Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and theAfghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) jointly celebratedInternational Women's Day inKabul .
