Joida is small town in western ghats of Karnataka state of India. The town is headquarters of taluk having same name. Joida town lies in Uttara Kannada district. Another town Ambikanagar is also nearby. Joida is sometimes known by Supa. Supa dam is built across Kali river in this taluk by KPCL.

Joida is 22 km from Dandeli. Although, it is a Taluka place, it is still under developed. Kannada & Konkani are the spoken languages here. It has small chunk of population fully surrounded by Forest.
