The 32nd Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry was an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

The 32nd Iowa Infantry was organized at Dubuque, Iowa and mustered in for three years of Federal service on October 6, 1862.

The regiment was mustered out on August 24, 1865.

Total strength and casualties

A total of 1292 men served in the 32nd Iowa at one time or another during its existence. Reenactments

The 32nd is now a reenactment regiment in Iowa. They potray themselves as the 32nd, and try to show it with things. There home reenactment is in Mason City, though they operate all over the state. They don't have a full regiment, though they have all of the companies but not a full company also.
