Background
Marian High School is a Catholic, college preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The mission of Marian High School is to ensure, within a Christian environment, an excellent education built on strong academic curriculum, which will enable young women to value human diversity and live responsible lives of leadership and action based on gospel values. Its stated philosophy is:
- To be a quality, value-oriented, Catholic high school committed to Christian ideals and academic excellence;
- To provide young women the opportunity to develop intellectually within a Christian faith community;
- To recognize and encourage the natural role of parents as the primary religious educators of their children as we strive to maintain a caring as well as challenging environment;
- To encourage the development of mature, competent and caring Christian women prepared to assume responsibility in our society;
- To educate young women who will respond to the call to be women of vision, women willing to accept Christ's challenge to seek justice in their lives and the world.
