Biography
Neemia attended Hutt International Boys' School.
Early career
Neemia has been involved in the New Zealand entertainment industry since the age of three, doing television advertisements which lead the way to various children’s television drama series. Most notably his first major role, as core cast in the television series The Legend of William Tell. He was a Super Trouper in the television series McDonald's Young Entertainers for its duration of three years until 1999.
Drew hosted Sticky TV [1] a kids/teen program, on TV3 from 2006 on which he worked with Sam Wallace, Julia Bloore (née Wright), Erin Simpson and Kanoa Lloyd. He officially left the show on May 1, 2009.
Recent career
Drew co-hosts 'Drew and Shannon Live' on Four (previously C4 TV). 'Drew and Shannon Live' is a popular music and entertainment based show from 4.30pm-6pm weekdays. Previously Drew hosted 'Select Live' on C4.[2] Some highlights from his role at C4 and Four have included interviewing famous artists such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and 50 Cent.
On July 4, 2011 Drew released his first single 'Get Over You'. Available on iTunes 'Get Over You' reached 29 on the sales chart during the first week.
Drew also launched his own website in July 2011 www.drewmusic.co.nz
Drew is an accomplished performer and has been involved with Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park.[3] for six years.
