Thurgood Marshall Middle School (MMS) is a public middle school in the Olympia School District, named after Thurgood Marshall. It is in Olympia, Washington. It is located across the street from Hansen Elementary School and is one of four middle schools in the district. The MMS mascot is the Mustang, and the school colors are maroon and silver. Its rival school is Jefferson Middle School.

Classes include humanities, math, science, fitness, and students can choose between band, choir, orchestra, and enrichment. There are 6 one-hour long periods in a day and a 30 minute lunch period. 7th and 8th graders have the option to play on sports teams: volleyball, boys' basketball, boys' soccer, wrestling, girls' basketball, girls' soccer and co-ed track. Students are generally taught in teacher teams, or blocks, where one or two teachers teach math and/or science and another teacher teaches humanities.

The current principal of the school is John Hitchman. The assistant principal is Kate Cook, and the counselor is Fritz Mondau.

MMS participates in an alternative program called MAP. Students enrolled in MAP are varied ages from 6th graders to 8th graders. MMS also has an ASB (Associated Student Body), who make decisions about Marshall.
