Hindmarsh is a suburb of Adelaide [cite book|title=2008 Adelaide and Surrounds Street Directory, 46st Edition |publisher=UBD (A Division of Universal Press Pty Ltd) |year=2008 |isbn= 978-0-731-92118-8] , the capital of South Australia and located within the City of Charles Sturt. The suburb is named after South Australia's first Governor, Sir John Hindmarsh. Within Hindmarsh is the 16,500-seat Hindmarsh Stadium, home to the Adelaide United football club, the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and the Seven Network's Adelaide studio.
