Thurpupalem is also a famous village which is very near to both bey of Bengal and the famous river Godavari. It has been located with green fields and tall coconut trees. we can find several culturs there. the people who were living there lead their lives happily.Malikipuram mandal has coastal line of 14 km from chintalamori to karavaka.

Dindi Village is on the river bank of one of the tributaries of Godavari River. It is a beautiful village with coconut palms swaying in winds. The village is a good place for tourists to visit.AP tourism resorts at coast of river.Boat facility is available in dindi resorts. It is about 12 km from Palacol, the nearest railway station. Dindi can also be accessed from Razole, Malikipuram and Narsapur.

Dindi is one place where the river view can be enjoyed from the Balayogi Bridge, named after the first Dalit Speaker of India. Dindi village is dotted with small huts of farmers, who till the land for growing rice all through the year. The only colour which is visible is all hues of green.

History

Atreyapuram Rajah has given Malikipuram and Mori villages to his two son-in-laws with surnames MUDUNURI and KUNADHARAJU.

Late Shri Mudunuri Soma Sundara Sekhara Bhoopala Raju Garu is a LandLord and Zamindar of Malikipuram. He was the richest man in the village until the 1970s. He used to have more than 100 acres (0.40 km²) of land in and nearby villages. He was the brother-in-law of former ATTILI MLA and another Zamindar of Panduvva Shri Vegesna Kanaka Raju. His family members used to have imported cars in the 1950s and 1960s. He and his wife Late Smt.Mudunuri Laxmi Narasayamma donated huge land worth crores of rupees in these days to the school and college in the village of Malikipuram. They donated the land free of cost as charity and made others also to donate the land for a noble cause of promoting education in Malikipuram.

The A.F.D.T was the result of efforts of many people like sri M.S.S.B. RAJU Garu, mangena sathyanarayana murthy, etc. that produced thousands of engineers,doctors,and lawers, etc.
