digital box set " byU2 , released exclusively online in theiTunes Store on23 November 2004 . It was the first major release of an online box set by any artist. It contained the complete set of U2 albums. Singles, live, rare and previously unreleased material from 1978 to 2004 extended the total to 446 songs. Retail price was $149.99, but a $50 coupon was included with U2 Special Edition iPods (those based on the fourth-generation iPod.) Newer U2 Special Edition iPods (with video—those based on the fifth-generation iPod) included a code redeemable for a 33-minute compilation of live band performances and interviews in lieu of the coupon. It was released a day after U2's eleventh album "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb ". As of20 December 2007 , the digital box set is no longer available for sale.
