The Jeffersonville Township Public Library manages two libraries. One in Jeffersonville and the other in Clarksville, Indiana [http://jefferson.lib.in.us/ Locations Side bar] . The rest of Clark County, Indiana public libraries is provided by Charlestown-Clark County Library.

History

The Jeffersonville Township Public Library Clarksville Branch Library was opened in 1993, [ [http://www.clarkco.lib.in.us/services/history.htm Charlestown-Clark County Public Library, Indiana ] ] originally in an annex building for Green Tree Mall before attaining its own building, which is known for its parking lot flooding. The Jeffersonville location just recently completed a remodel and reopened in early 2007. During the remodel the main branch operated out of an extra building at the United States Census Bureau in Jeffersonville.
