Rani Theni is a Tamil language film starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role of the protagonist. The film's hero is playback singer Deepan Chakkaravarthi son of Trichi Loganathan an ace veteran cine playback singer of yesteryears. The film has lead female roles lead by Rajini nivedhita, Vanitha krishnachandran.
