- Maui Diamonds
Maui diamonds, also known as Boston Diamonds, are
diamond s found in Pacific or Atlantic Regions and in most instances are of volcanic formations.Created from presence of high pressures found in regions of
lava flows due toigneous rock formation. Maui diamonds are a form ofpyroclastic glass nodules formed when superheatedmagma under high pressure containment in lava tubes meets ocean water and cools rapidly. They are also known as "Sri Lanka n" soul stones. They are coveted for both their rarity and multi-colored varieties. Most specimens are relatively small in size and are rarely found. Specimens measuring 1-5 carats (200 to 1000 mg) are usually found though when encountered and have net weights and values of 1/5 relative to
South Africa nopal or diamond values of the same size, depending on current market pricing. They are used in commercial testing surface meter probes and forjewelry .The largest discovery of Maui Diamonds took place at Keawakapu Beach, Maui, Hawaii in July of 2007 and was made by one Haole named Jeff Crisafulli from Boston. He was known locally as the "Super Haole" or the "OG" Haole (Original). He was also known for his catch phrase of "Choke Scraps Dakine Bra"
