Movement of Veterans of Serbia

Movement of Veterans of Serbia (Serbian: Покрет ветерана Србије, ПВС; Pokret veterana Srbije, PVS) is a minor political party in the Republic of Serbia. It has a single seat within the parliamentary club of the Socialist Party of Serbia within the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, as per the 21 January 2007 election, ratified on 14 February 2007.

The party is composed by former veterans from the Yugoslav wars led by Žarko Vasiljević; they stand for the preservation within Serbia's borders of Kosovo, an UN-administered province whose Albanian population wants secession.

In May 2007 the party organized the "Guard of Prince Lazar" named after the Christian/Serbian hero and monarch, who died at the Battle of Kosovo in 1389 fighting against the Ottoman Turks. The para-military unit has markings of the JSO, with its wolf emblem, but with the map of Kosovo added to it. After the meeting the Serbian authorities arrested and took into custody the men who were present at the gathering but they were later released without charge.

The party's website displays "Movement of Veterans of Serbia" with a Serbian eagle overtop of a map of both Serbia and Montenegro.
