John Waters (politician)

John Waters (politician)

John Waters (before —after ) was a Canadian political figure. A Liberal from Ontario, he represented Middlesex North in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from June 1879 to May 1894, where he introduced, in 1893, a bill which would have given women the vote in provincial elections.

Prior to his service in the Legislative Assembly, Waters was a reeve (elected head of a rural municipality) for East Williams Township from 1868 to 1875, and warden for Middlesex County in 1875.
